About us!

Homemade ice cream, made in Farmington, Illinois.

The Ulm family and friends at the Lefty's Parlor ribbon cutting
Opening day on East Fort Street.

Lefty's Parlor is a family-owned ice cream shop at 64 E. Fort St. in downtown Farmington, Illinois. The Ulm family made ice cream at home for years before opening the shop to share it with the rest of town.

Every flavor is made from scratch, in small batches, right here in the shop, then hand-dipped to order. That's what gives it the rich, smooth texture people drive in for.

You'll find classics like chocolate, strawberry and butter pecan next to rotating flavors like espresso, amaretto cherry and black raspberry, plus dairy-free options.

We're proud to be part of downtown Farmington and to serve families from across Fulton County and the Peoria area, including Canton, Elmwood and Yates City.

Whether it's a weeknight treat, a stop after the game or your first flight of flavors, we'd love to see you.

We also offer mobile catering options perfect for any event — see our events page.
